Pentecost Benediction

As you celebrate Pentecost, you might enjoy this call to worship or sermon used on past Pentecosts.

Here is a benediction to end your Pentecost worship time.

Go out into God’s world filled with the spark of the Holy Spirit. Let love guide your actions. Listen for the Spirit of Truth. Spread the peace of Christ and remind everyone you meet that each one is a beloved child of God. Amen.

Thank you Susannah. I was looking for a Benediction to conclude our weekly chapel service and came across this one of yours. I will list your name on this. Serve as a chaplain at Cedar Crest Village (Erickson Corporation), Reformed Church in America minister. 30+ years ago worked on a Th.M. from New Brunswick Seminary, half day in Princeton at the counseling center by Princeton Seminary. Peace and joy, Tom

    Tom,
I am so glad this benediction struck a chord with you and will be used again. Blessings on your continued ministry.

I love this Benediction! It would be perfect to close our Pentecost worship this year. I am the Minister of Music and Worship at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Coralville, Iowa. May I have your permission to use this on May 28?
